Carrigtwohill started there Senior Hurling Championship campaign with a fine win over East Cork rivals Killeagh.
After a slow start, Carrig grew into the game and gradually got to terms with their opponants.
After going in at the break 3 points down, they made a blistering start to the second half and a opportunist goal from my Man of the Match,Micky (Da) Fitzgerald paved the way for Carrigs win.

Having been involved in the relegation battles for the past couple of seasons, this win at last unburdens the team of all that pressure.
They may not go on to win the Championship, but a decent run is a real possability.
